Expressions of Interest are now open for Queensland Advocacy for Inclusion (QAI) to support your application to attend the 19th Session of the Conference of States Parties (CoSP19) to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York, United States of America (USA) from 9 to 11 June 2026. You must be a person with disability to apply. Successful applicants will be funded by the Australian Government to attend CoSP as part of Australia’s Civil Society Delegation.
Background
CoSP is held annually in June and covers a range of themes and issues in relation to the implementation of the CRPD. As an organisation with consultative status from the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), for many years now QAI has been successful in receiving funding to send delegates along to CoSP and host side events.
You can watch some of our previous side events on our YouTube channel here.
We would like to acknowledge the support of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing (DHDA) through the Supporting Participation Program.
