New Australian Disability Strategy Welcomed By Leading Disability Representative Organisations
Alongside Australia’s peak disability representative organisations, QAI supports the new Australian Disability Strategy 2021–2031 which was released today by the Australian Government to coincide with the International Day Of People With Disability. The new strategy sets out a plan for governments and stakeholders to improve the lives of people with disability across Australia over the next ten years. QAI supports the improved focus on the monitoring and evaluation of the strategy and welcomes the appointment of an advisory council comprising people with disability to oversee its implementation.
