Event Details

In November 2023, the A Right to Learn campaign commissioned research on the economic impacts of disproportionate school disciplinary absences on students with disabilities.

It found that Queensland students with disabilities missed over 107,000 days of education due to suspensions. Parents and carers lose 76,000 workdays annually, costing families $14 million in lost income.

Join our virtual town hall to hear from Queensland schools who are doing things differently, embracing inclusion and hear from the families that are seeing the difference.
