Event Details

Byron Albury and Debbi Jones invite all First Nations people with disability to a Yarning Circle next Monday to discuss the question: “What do we want representation of First Nations people with disability in Queensland to look like?”.

While QAI’s First Nations Management Committee members are hosting this Yarning Circle, we understand self-determination is crucial for First Nations people and people with disability and as such, QAI are simply supporting this event in the hopes it will bring people together and start the conversation. Come and share food, drink, and yarns.

Please share with any First Nations people with disability you know, it would be great to have as many people as possible with the relevant lived experience in attendance, in order to gather various perspectives.

Facebook event can be found here.
