QAI made a submission to the Attorney-General’s Department regarding the proposed National Register of Enduring Powers of Attorney.
QAI agrees that a National Register of Enduring Power of Attorneys (‘EPOAs) would assist in reducing financial abuse, in particular, the financial abuse experienced by more vulnerable members of the population including people with disability (particularly people with psychosocial, intellectual or cognitive disability) and older people.
