We have joined with Queenslanders with Disability Network (QDN) to write an open letter to the Queensland Premier, Stephen Miles. The letter urges the Queensland Government to introduce changes to the outdated Anti-Discrimination Act before the election later this year, to avoid Queenslanders with disability having to wait any longer for better protections against discrimination.
After lengthy consultations including the Building Belonging report and the Disability Royal Commission, it is time for the government to take action.
