Who we are
We are an independent advocacy organisation advocating for the protection and advancement of the needs, rights and lives of people with disability in Queensland. We are a registered Charity and community legal service.
What we do
We advocate for systems change through campaigns and submissions directed at attitudinal, law and policy reform. We also provide help to individuals through our three advocacy practices.

Last year we assisted 2,637 Queenslanders through 3,197 services, including:
NDIS review and appeals
Mental Health Review Tribunal appearances
QCAT hearings and human rights conciliations
“I cannot thank you enough for everything yesterday and all your extensive preparations leading up to conciliation. I was extremely fortunate to have such an intelligent, supportive and well prepared team in my corner.”
“I have received more information and support than I could possible have imagined. If all of your people are of the same standard as Jenny, you are doing extremely well.”

“I just witnessed Courtney Wolf speaking at the Disability Royal Commission today and wanted to write and say congratulations and thank you for speaking so clearly and precisely and accurately about the issues faced by people with a disability. You spoke so well – so many things directly relevant to our current situation. Thank you for speaking up for people like us. The DRC has proven to be a great forum to get a lot of really important information into the market – not that many are listening – but it has been great to hear that we are not alone.”
Email to Queensland Advocacy
“I just wanted to email you to say how much we appreciated Caitlin’s help in resolving the matter of a wheelchair for Jordan. Her consistent and unending support, knowledge, patience, and determination were extraordinary. Many times Jordan and I felt like giving up, and Caitlin was there to encourage us to keep going. Her calm but resolute attitude was just what we needed after a long 18 months and getting absolutely no where. We would be more than happy for you to publish our feedback. With our sincere thanks.”
